Elizabeth Hartmann

Ms. Elizabeth Hartmann

Elizabeth Hartmann is a Ph.D student and coach at the University of Washington in the Education department. She was a mathematics teacher at Animo South Los Angeles Charter High School for two years after earning her Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Languages and Cultures from the University of Southern California, and while in college she worked for ASSC, an after school sports program for underprivileged elementary students in Los Angeles. Elizabeth coached gymnastics for over six years and is a certified gymnastics judge. She volunteered several years as a camp counselor for middle and high school students, and continues to work with her local church youth group. Her hobbies and interests include fishing, hiking, triathlons, and aviation.
